I completed the main bulk of work last week, but wanted to get the wirework finished before I posted... and added it to the March Heart Journal page. The featured material and technique this month was utee and cut-outs.
It has alot of layers this time, with cut-outs, pics, stamping, embossed elements, powders, wire and beads. Try as I might, I start with the hope of creating a light/pretty heart, but it always turns out deeper, darker and not so girly. Oh well! It must be my subconscious at work.
I absolutely love your heart! The many layers give it amazing depth and I love love love your stamping! Fi

ReplyDeleteAs always, your work is beautiful, and the way you use different materials always inspires me. I love the texture and the beads on the side. And I understand what you mean by "subconscious interference", it happens to me so many times! But I like that part when something hidden comes out of me and makes me go Hmmm? :)
ReplyDeleteI also nominated you for the Versatile Blogger Award! Didn't know Deb gave it to you, but it doesn't hurt to be nominated twice, right? lol! xoxoxoxo!
